Exam Details - Haryana Teachers’ Eligibility Test (HTET)
Board of School Education, Haryana conduct Haryana Teachers’ Eligibility Test(HTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher or Lecturer in any of the schools recognized by the Department of School Education, Haryana and affiliated by the Board of School Education Bhiwani.
Haryana Teachers’ Eligibility Test(HTET) is conduct for the three categories as follows:
i) who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V
ii)who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII
iii) who intents to be a lecturer for classes IX to XII
Examination pattern for Haryana Teachers’ Eligibility Test (HTET)
There shall be only one paper in this category. There will be 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.Duration of examination will be one-and-a-half hours. For each category as per the following subjects and syllabus.
Category 1: Teachers for classes I to V
(i) Child Development and pedagogy: 30 MCQs
(ii) Language I (Hindi) : 30 MCQs
(iii) Language II (English): 30 MCQs
(iv) Mathematics: 30 MCQs
(v) Environmental Studies: 30 MCQs
Category 2: Teachers for classes VI to VIII
(i) Child Development and pedagogy: 30 MCQs
(ii) Language I (Hindi) : 30 MCQs
(iii) Language II (English): 30 MCQs
(iv)
(a) For Mathematics and Science Teacher: Mathematics and Science – 60 MCQs
(b) For Social Studies teacher: Social Studies – 60 MCQ
(c) For any other teacher – either (iv) (a) or (iv) (b)
Category 3: Lecturers
(i) Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory): 30 MCQs
(ii) Language I (Hindi)(Compulsory): 30 MCQs
(iii) Language II(English) (Compulsory): 30 MCQs
(iv) Subject specific : 60 MCQs
There shall be no negative marking.
