Hello friends as you know chandigarh is thre capital of Haryana as well as Punjab.Chandigarh has great importance than other state of Haryana.I would like to share some knowledge about Haryana.

Hello friends as you know Chandigarh is only city which is capital of two famous cities Haryana and Punjab.Chandigarh is combination of two words which are as follows:-
Chandigarh=chandi+garh
Chandi means goddess and garh means fortress
The modern look to Chandigarh is given by Le Corbusier in 1951,The territory located between the Haryana and Punjab having area 114 sq km.located just south of the Shiwalik hills.Chandigarh has many places for tourist which are as follows:-
1. rock garden:-rock garden is located in sector 1 between sukhna lake and capital complex.The main thing which is famous in rock garden is that it has artwork made from waste materials.This is a great foundation of Nake chand.
2. rose garden:-rose garden is the most beautiful garden of rose in Asia.
3.cactus garden:-It is located 8 km away from chandigarh in Panchkula.It is largest botanical garden in Asia.It was established in 1987.
capital complex:-It has headquators of both Punjab and Haryana.The credit of design of capital complex goes to Le corbusier.In this legislative assembly,high court and secretariet are available.
4.sukhna lake:-sukhna lake is a man made lake in the foothills of shiwalik range.it is 3 km long and created in 1958.
5.Kisan bhawan:-It is in sector 23.It provide living fasility to the tourist at very low cost.It is like five star Hotel.
