Kurkshetra one of the most famous religious place in India and is most ancient one in the history of Indian Puranas. The name itself come from a great story in our Puranas. This place is known as land of King Kuru who ploughed the region with Lord Shiva's Bull Nandi with a Golden plough.

The land is owned by Aryans and city is also mentioned in Rigveda and also named as Saryanvat. While moving to Mahabharta time the land between Drishdvati and Saraswati river was named as Kurukshetra.

Kurukshetra has been declared as a land of religious culture in Bhagwat Gita.The holy war of Mahabharata between Kaurava's and Pandava's took place on this land. Kuskshetra is also named as Dharmakshetra in various Mahabharata scripts and Puranas.

Lord Brahma built the whole word sitting in this land and the place is know as Brahma Sarovar which is famous for its own holistic history and beauty.

Now a days Kurukshetra has various tourist attraction and is famous for its peace and devotion in Hindu Dharma.
