The state government of Haryana will soon be implementing a three-tier system of school education, with special emphasis on education for girls, to improve the overall quality of education in the state. The state government is already emphasizing girls' education by providing free education and scholarships schemes for them.

There are lots of doubts and misunderstanding among teachers and students as well about three-tier system of school education to be implementing soon in the stste. Lets check what are the main things in this new education system.

Aims of three-tier system of school education in Haryana


The state government of Haryana will be introducing a thee-tier system of education so as to improve the quality and spread of education in the state. As per the Haryana Education Minister Geeta Bhukkal, the three-tier system of education will further improve the standard of education in the state and will be helpful to make Haryana the national hub of quality education.

Rules of three-tier system of school education in Haryana


1. Selection of Education officials will be through direct recruitment
2. The designation of School Lecturer will be change in to PGT, Master change in to TGT and JBT Teacher will be called PRT.
3. PRTs will teach Class Ist and IInd.
4. TGTs will teach Class IIIrd to VIIIth
5. PGTs will teach Class IXth to XIIth
6. The promotion of Lecturer will be Vice Principal instead of Principal.
7. To become the Principal after the Vice Principal candidates must face the departmental examination.
8. Only Lecturer and Head of Middle can Promote as Vice-Principal.
9. According to new rules priority of School Lecturer will be equal the Middle Head. Earlier priority of Lecturer was equal to High School Headmaster.
10. 200 days and 800 working hours will be compulsory for Class 1 through 5 in 1 year.
11. 220 days and 1009 working hours will be compulsory for 6 To 8 in a year.
12. School time will be 4 to 8. At least seven and a half hours.
13. School Management Committee will decide the dresses code for students.
