Surajkund Crafts Mela 2012 is organized by Haryana Tourism Department every year in the month of February. Surajkund Crafts Mela was first time organized in 1981 and since then the fair continues to be a strong platform for Indian artists and craftsmen to display their skilled crafts and art work. Surajkund Crafts Mela 2012 will be 26th Mela of the series.

Schedule: Surajkund Crafts Mela 2012 is hosted by the Surajkund Mela authority every year from 1st to 15th February. Colourful Festivity is open to visitors from 9.30 every morning to 7.00 p.m. every evening.
Location: Like every year Surajkund Crafts Mela 2012 is going to be held away from the hectic life of Delhi where you can enjoy the rural ambience of India. Surajkund, the site of popular Surajkund Crafts Mela 2012 is located at a distance of 8 km from South Delhi in Faridabad.

Surajkund Crafts Mela 2012 attractions
1. It is a great place to see the rural art and handicraft of India as Crafts persons from all over India, SAARC and other neighboring countries would be selling the best of Handlooms and Handicrafts items.
2. For the entertainment of visitors many Cultural programmes are going to organized jointly by Ministry of Culture, ICCR, New Delhi, Theme State of Surajkund Crafts Mela 2011 and Cultural Affairs Department, Haryana & Haryana Kala Parishad.
3. Many competitions and special games are also organized to entertain the youngsters who are going to visit the fair. Amusement Zone with playful rides and swings is also available for the kids.
