Name of posts: Civil Judge (Junior Division)

Number of posts: 72 posts (GEN-37, SC-19, BC-05, Ex-Servicemen-08, PH-03)

Pay scale: Rs. 27700-770-33090-920-40450-1080-44770 /-

Age limit: 21 years - 40 years as on 17.01.2013. Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for reserved categories.

HCS Judicial Branch Exam 2012 examination details


Candidates who have a degree of Bachelor of Laws from a University established by the law and approved/recognized by the Bar Council of India can apply for the HCS Judicial Branch Exam 2012 exam.

HCS Judicial Branch Exam 2012 Preliminary Examination syllabus: The Preliminary Examination will consist 125 objective types with multiple-choice questions, total duration of the exam will be two and each question shall carry 04 marks and for every wrong answer 0.20% i.e. 1/5th mark shall be deducted. The objective type multiple-choice question for the Preliminary Examination shall be from the syllabus for the Main Examination.

Candidate must have to secure minimum 150 marks (read 100 marks for all reserved category candidates) in the Preliminary Examination to appear for main examination.

How to apply for HCS Judicial Branch Exam 2012


By Hand: Application form along with necessary instructions, acknowledgement card and an envelope for sending application can be obtained from the office of Haryana Public Service Commission, Bays No. 1-10, Block - B, Sector -4, Panchkula on cash payment at the counter from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM and 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm on all working days.

By post: Same can be obtained through post from the Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission, Bays No. 1-10, Block-B, Sector-4, Panchkula, (Phone No. 0172-2560755) by remitting the fees as stated below through Indian Postal Orders or Bank Drafts (from any branch of Scheduled Bank of India) payable to the Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission at Panchkula with self addressed envelope of 24x11 cm size duly stamped worth Rs. 50/- for registered post at least 10 days prior to the closing date.

- For Female Candidates of General category of all states and Dependent Daughters of ESM of Haryana: Orange form- Rs. 250



- For Male & Female candidates of SC/BC and ESM categories of Haryana only: Green form- Rs. 250

- For Male & Female candidates of PH categories of Haryana only: Green form- Free of Cost
