1. Name of posts: Sub-Divisional Engineer
Number of posts: 20 posts (Gen-12, OBC-05 , SC-02, PH-1) (Civil/B&R Branch-7 post, Building branch- 1 post , Public Health- 12 posts)
Pay scale: Rs.15600-39100 +Grade Pay Rs.5400
Age limit: 18 years - 35 years as on 01.01.2012 for General category. (Upper age limit relaxation for SC candidates is up to 5 years and for OBC candidates up to 3 years)
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have Degree in Civil Engineering (Regular) or Public Health Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent.

2. Name of posts: Sub-Divisional Engineer (Electrical)
Number of posts: 02posts (Gen-02)
Pay scale: Rs.15600-39100 +Grade Pay Rs.5400

Educational Qualification: Candidate must be metric passed and passed 2 years ITI Draftsmanship diploma in the relevant trade with 5 years experience in the trade as regular service. Knowledge of operating computer is essential.

Pay scale: Rs.10300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.3800

For the post of Junior Engineer and Junior Engineer (Electrical): Candidates will be selected on the basis of the academic merits (% age of marks obtained X maximum marks), written test, computer test followed by personal interview.
- Diploma/Degree: 60% marks
- Written Test: 20 Marks
- Computer test: 10 marks
- Interview: 10 Marks



For the post of Draftsman & Junior Draftsman: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the academic merits (% age of marks obtained X maximum marks), written test, computer test followed by personal interview.
